Sinar Mas Land successfully hosted the 2025 BERHATI Festival at The Breeze Atrium, BSD City, on May 26, 2025.
The event marked the second annual celebration of the BERHATI (Green, Healthy, Innovative Character) program.
It is part of the company’s School Development Program, which emphasizes sustainable and creative educational transformation.
This year’s event brought together teachers and students from schools in South Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency, and Rumpin District in Bogor.
Government Officials and Schools Collaborate to Boost Green Learning
The festival drew more than 150 participants, including education stakeholders and policymakers.
Notable guests included Rudi Darmawan from the South Tangerang Education Office and Ahmad Rifaudin from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Also present were Adhityo Galih Priyambodo from Sinar Mas Land and representatives from the BERHATI Movement Task Force (TPSB).
Attendees included headmasters, teacher representatives, education supervisors, and parent committees from partner schools.

Managing Director of the President Office at Sinar Mas Land, Dony Martadisata, highlighted the event’s mission.
He said quality education builds a generation that is resilient, environmentally conscious, and future-ready.
Sinar Mas Land’s School Development Program spans from elementary to secondary levels in South Tangerang and Tangerang Regency.
Since 2024, the program has supported 25 schools, 200 students, and 400 educators, providing grants worth IDR 286 million.

The 2025 BERHATI Festival included various competitions and exhibitions aimed at strengthening sustainability values.
Activities ranged from innovation design contests to climate awareness campaigns and upcycled fashion shows.
One featured event was the talk show with Sri Haryati, Director of Hayat School Bandung, on schools’ role in fighting global warming.
The festival concluded with an award ceremony for top-performing BERHATI partner schools and 10 new BERHATI Model Schools.
BERHATI Program Expands With Training, Mentorship, and Policy Engagement
BERHATI is part of Sinar Mas Land’s broader initiative to enhance school ecosystems in its surrounding communities.
The program includes teacher capacity-building, education aid, school facility improvements, and curriculum innovation.
